Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, has accused record producer and Disc Jockey DJ Neptune over his intellectual property.
Mavin Records’ Golden Boy accuses Neptune of releasing an old song of his without legal action.
Rema, in a series of Twitter messages, noted that he begged his manager to delay the release of his song, but Neptune and his team went ahead with their plans.
He said his art was something he didn’t like to play and he knew his boss Don Jazzy would be furious but he couldn’t keep quiet about it.
Rema tweeted; ”With all due respect chief! Dropped my old record without due process?!! I’m not happy at all. @deejayneptune
