This record label was founded in 2006 by Don Jazzy and D’banj. D’banj became the first signed artist to the label. Don Jazzy handled the executive side of the label. The record label expanded to sign artists like Wande Coal, Dr.Sid, K-Switch, and D’Prince.

After the disbandment of the legendary Mo’hits records. Don Jazzy founded “Supreme Mavin Dynasty Records” in 2012. Mavin Records started the career of successful artists like Rema, Tiwa Savage, Reekado Banks among others.
Don Jazzy has turned Mavin Records into a successful label. Mavin Records won the Record Label of the Year at the 2014 City People Entertainment Awards.
