The abducted students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State,that cried for help in a video released by the Abubakar Shekau-led faction of Boko Haram on Thursday. The boys said some of them have been killed in the 6 minutes 30 seconds and pleaded with the government to respond to the demands of the terrorists, including paying ransom so they could be set free.

The students of the all-boys boarding secondary school were abducted on Friday, December 11, after the terrorists stormed their school in the middle of the night, broke its gate, shot in air, and  gathered the boys, claiming to be security operatives.

One of the 344 students from the Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State, has disclosed that they were not kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorist group as earlier stated by the Federal Government.

When asked if their abductors were bandits or Boko Haram, the students said, “I do not know who they are but I was told to say they’re Boko Haram”.
