A young man identified as Emmanuel Ikujuni has been allegedly killed by the his wife, Queen Beatrice for receiving call from a female friend in her presence.
The incident occurred at Omotosho in Okitipupa Local Government area of Ondo State.
It was gathered she attacked her husband for receiving a call from another woman in her presence.
Sources said neighbours rushed the husband to a nearby hospital but, unfortunately, he died before he could be admitted.
A sister to the deceased, Imoleayo Ikujuni, narrated the wife challenged her late brother for receiving call from another lady.
She said;
“During the fight, she hit him with a plank and he died instantly. They have arrested her. The suspect has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, SCIID, in Akure for further investigation”.
A source said the corpse has been deposited at the mortuary while awaiting autopsy examination.
